Restaurant & Business Information
Merchants still open
With COVID-19 affecting local businesses, Visit York County is keeping the public updated with lists of merchants still operating. Check out their county-wide update here, as well as their lists of local restaurants offering various types of service here. Please make sure to support your Fort Mill restaurants and businesses, whenever possible and safe.
A group of Fort Mill merchants have compiled their own list here. If you are a Fort Mill business that has the means to provide pick up or delivery options, add yourself to the list. Please note these lists are maintained by local merchants, and not by the Town of Fort Mill.
With the continued increase of COVID-19 rates in York County, Fort Mill Town Council approved an ordinance on July 6, 2020, requiring the public to wear face coverings while inside any food, retail and service establishments within Town limits and inside any Town government offices. The ordinance took effect July 8, 2020, and will last for 30 days. Read the press release, ordinance and FAQ here.
For businesses affected by the ordinance:
The CDC has created several flyers and graphics that businesses can use to help explain social distancing, how to properly wear a mask, etc. Click here to view.
The SC Department of Corrections Vinyl Graphics Department has created templates for several floor decals that businesses can purchase from them which help encourage social distancing. Click here to view.
