Thank you for your submissions!  The art contest is officially closed.  Judging will take place later in January, with winners announced in early February.

The Town of Fort Mill Stormwater is excited to announce that we are launching a Stormwater Art Project in the fall of 2022 in partnership with many different agencies and businesses in our community.  The project has two parts: a Fort Mill School District art contest for students K-12 and a public mural installation in Kingsley.   The school district contest will run October 15th to December 1st, with winners announced in early 2023.  Artists will take the student work as inspiration for a public mural that will be designed and installed in Kingsley in Spring of 2023.

The Student Art Contest is open to all students who are zoned for Fort Mill School District schools.  Students do not need to attend FMSD schools to enter (this contest is open to homeschooled students as well as private school students).

Debbie Whitsett, owner of Olive's Mud Puddle, and local artist is heading up our effort to identify local artists who would like to participate in the mural design and installation.  Please reach out to Debbie at info@olivesmudpuddle.com or Mina at mmacdonald@fortmillsc.gov for more details on how you can get involved!

We would like to thank and recognize our partner organizations:
