The Town of Fort Mill kept history alive on Tuesday, July 4, with the 51st annual Firing of the Cannons at the Bandstand on Main Street. The event featured a special patriotic ceremony with music and the history of the firing of the cannons to commemorate the occasion, along with recognition of the Short Family’s 50th Year of being the Official Cannoneers.
