In an effort to connect every South Carolinian with reliable, high-speed internet service, the Catawba Regional Council of Governments is working with the South Carolina Broadband Office on its GetConnectedSC initiative. As part of this initiative, they are gathering information on how citizens access and use the internet. The first phase is a survey, which can be accessed at http://catawbacog.org/featured-projects/getconnectedsc-broadband-survey/ (deadline to submit entries is May 31, 2023). The State Broadband Office is also hosting an open house on Thursday, March 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the York Public Library, Room 138, 21 East Liberty Street, York, SC 29745.
