Veterans Park Paver Form (PDF)

The American Legion Post 43 and the Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post 9138 formed a partnership with The Town of Fort Mill to create a Veterans Park to honor the past, present, and future men and women of the armed forces of the United States of America.

Veterans Park is located at 106 North White Street and is surrounded by green space. The park is in easy walking distance of Millstone Park, Confederate Park, Walter Elisha Park and downtown Fort Mill.

The park’s centerpiece is an 8-foot tall pedestal topped by a World War I Doughboy. The pedestal is engraved with the names of fallen Fort Mill servicemen and women. Five granite walls in the shape of a five-point star represent the five branches of the uniformed services.

A “Walk of Honor” was created using custom pavers that can be purchased by the public. These pavers honor loved ones and serve as an endearing memorial to those who have served. Pavers are placed in the park on Memorial Day. Pavers must be submitted by March 31 of the current year to be installed by Memorial Day.
