Continuing the tradition of bringing some of the best tribute acts to the Town of Fort Mill, join us for the Town’s first all-country music Tribute Fest on Aug. 17, 2024.
Held at the Fort Mill Amphitheater in Walter Y. Elisha Park, 345 N. White St., this event will feature two amazing tribute bands and one remarkable local country performer.
The event begins at 5 p.m. with Vegas McGraw, a Tim McGraw tribute band headlined by Nashville recording artist and Las Vegas entertainer Adam D. Tucker. The band has opened for 42 national acts across the United States including for Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean and Charlie Daniels. Listen as they perform a wide variety of songs from McGraw’s catalog.
At 6:15 p.m. local musician Cooper Ledford, a Catawba Ridge High School graduate and aspiring country artist, will take the stage. Cooper grew up singing country music and recorded his first song in June called “Ain’t Your Story to Write” which released Aug. 9. Ledford's idols such as George Strait, Keith Whitley, and Travis Tritt have helped to shape his style, which he describes as a modernized 90s country sound.
Our final tribute act of the night, The Ultimate Garth Brooks Tribute band, will perform beginning at 6:45 p.m. The group is one of the longest continually performing Garth Brooks tribute acts in the world. Led by musician and singer Shawn Gerhard, this high-energy show features Gerhard and his amazing band performing selections from Garth Brooks’ massive collection of songs.
There will be several food, desert and drink vendors at the event, including: 5th Sin, Say Cheez 518, JamRock Jerk Spot, Salute Chew, Chanchos Tacos, Potbelly BBQ, King of Fire, Gizmo's Grill, My Sausage Buddy, Baltimore Crab Co., Nacho Business, Hobbs Nuts, S & K Funnel Cakes, Kona Ice, Gnam Gnam Gelato, SC, Pelicans Snoballs, Sweetdawg Lemonade, Boba Time Boba, and Palmetto Pony.
