Join the Town of Fort Mill as we honor those who gave their lives in service to our country at the Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26, 2025. Due to the predicted weather forecast for Monday, the Town is moving this free event to the YMCA at The Complex, 971 Tom Hall Street. The event will still be held at 10 a.m. The public should plan to enter through the Main Entrance at the YMCA at The Complex and follow the signage to the gymnasium. The ceremony will feature:
- Welcome & Special Remarks by Mayor Guynn Savage
- Reading of the Names of the Fallen by Fort Mill Town Council
- Special Reading by the 2025 South Carolina Strawberry Festival Ms. Queen, Kimberly Stillman
- Posting & Retirement of Colors by Scout Troop 219
- Laying of the Wreath & Rifle Volley by American Legion Post 43 & Ladies Auxiliary
- National Anthem sung by Kimberly Long
- Special music by Suite Strings CLT
