[ARCHIVED] Town Hall Opening at 12 p.m. on Feb. 2, 2026

Winter Storm Update-1-30-26

Fort Mill Town Hall will open to the public at 12 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026. If you need assistance before noon, Town staff can be reached by phone or email.

๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Trash Collection Update:

Trash collection is cancelled for Monday and will resume normal operations on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

๐Ÿ‘ We would like to thank all Town employees who worked throughout the weekend during the winter storm to keep our community safe. A special thank you to our Public Works team for their outstanding efforts plowing and salting Town-owned facilities and roadways across Fort Mill.

โš ๏ธ Please use caution: Temperatures will drop overnight, which may cause melted snow to refreeze and create slick road conditions.

โœ”๏ธ Public Works is prepared to plow and salt Town-owned main roads, neighborhood spine roads, and known problem areas throughout the event.

๐Ÿš’ Emergency Services Status - Fire and Police are prepared for the event and report no unmet needs
 • The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is staged at Town Hall should activation be required

โŒ All Parks and Recreation practices and games scheduled for this weekend are postponed
โ„น๏ธ There is no winter weather maintenance at Town-owned park facilities

 If widespread power outages occur, the Town is prepared to open a warming center at the Old Town Annex (200 Tom Hall Street) for residents needing warmth or device charging. Pets are not permitted at this facility. Additional details will be shared if activation becomes necessary.
