Here is some important information for residents regarding trash and recycling, leaf collection, Christmas tree collection, and Town Hall operating hours for New Year’s week:
-Trash and recycling will be collected as normal each day this week, including New Year's Day. As always, make sure your cart is at the curb prior to 6 a.m. on collection day.
-Please note, due to maintenance issues with the Town’s vacuum truck, collection of leaf piles will be on a delayed schedule this week. Residents can continue to place leaf piles curbside, though they may not be picked up on their normal collection day. Residents can still bag leaves and place curbside on their normal trash collection day.
-Residents can place Christmas trees at their curb to be collected during their normal trash collection day.
-Town of Fort Mill Administrative Offices (Town Hall) will be closed Friday, Jan. 1 for the New Year's Day holiday. Customers can still make payments that day using our after-hours drop-box in the first lane of Town Hall’s drive-through or online at www.fortmillsc.gov/403/Online-Payments. Customers also have the option to mail payments or pay through their bank. Offices will reopen Monday, Jan. 4 with normal hours. Remember, Town Hall will still be closed to the public, but we welcome customers at our drive-through lanes to make utility and municipal court payments or to pay for building permits or business licenses.
