The Town of Fort Mill is excited to announce a full slate of holiday events, including our Christmas Village and Lighting of the Tree, annual Christmas Parade, a trolley visit from Santa, and Christmas Cookie Crawl.
Fort Mill Christmas Village
Kicking off our holiday season is the Fort Mill Christmas Village featuring the Lighting of the Town Christmas Tree on Thursday, Dec. 2, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Bring your family to downtown Fort Mill for music, food, festive entertainment, kids’ activities, a vendor village and more! The night begins at 5 p.m. with a selection of food trucks on White St., along with shopping and dining at our downtown merchants and in the Vendor Village at Veterans Park. At 5:30 p.m. watch the Lighted Children’s Parade progress from the top of Main Street to the Bandstand, led by our S.C. Strawberry Queens and Berry the Strawberry. Mayor Guynn Savage and Santa Claus will be waiting at the Bandstand to help light the Town Tree and decorations shortly after! The night’s entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. at the stage along White St. with school choirs, hand bell choirs and other festive entertainment. Make sure to visit the kids' activities tents along Main Street and Santa Claus in the Bandstand!
Fort Mill Christmas Parade
Our Fort Mill Christmas Parade returns as a live event this year on Saturday, Dec. 4 beginning at 11 a.m. Pick a good spot to watch this annual tradition, which begins at Tom Hall and Unity streets, travels through Main Street and ends on N. White Street. This year’s Grand Marshals are the 2021 Dixie Youth Baseball Division 1 AA World Series Champions. The community will also be able to watch the events later on Comporium Channel 115. 
Santa Trolley Around Town
Also exciting, Santa Claus is coming to Fort Mill! Following our inaugural event last year, the Town is offering a Trolley visit from Santa, who will be visiting neighborhoods throughout the Town on Saturday, Dec. 11 beginning at 9 a.m. Maybe he’ll stop by your neighborhood! The route will be posted online prior to the event and residents will be able to track Santa’s progress on social media.
Christmas Cookie Crawl
Get ready for the second annual Christmas Cookie Crawl. Visit participating local shops and restaurants to get free pre-packaged Christmas Cookies on Saturday, Dec. 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Town will provide Christmas Cookie tins to the first 100 participants that register. (Note: You must register and receive a tin to participate.) Registration opened Nov. 29. You can register by emailing your Contact Name, Contact Address and Phone Number, and Ages of Children to Events Coordinator Jacona Hester at jhester@fortmillsc.gov.
