As we gear up for our big move to the new Town Hall at the beginning of 2026, the Town of Fort Mill’s Utility Billing and Customer Service department will soon be closing its drive-thru at the Town Hall Annex, located at 200 Tom Hall St.
Here’s some important information you need to know:
- When is the drive-thru closing?: The last day for customers to use the drive-thru lanes at the Town Hall Annex is Nov. 26, 2025. Beginning Dec. 1, customers must enter the lobby of 200 Tom Hall St. for help with all customer service activities, including utility billing and other utility issues, permits and business licenses. Customers can continue using the drop-off box through the end of December.
- How can I pay my bill?:
- Try our online customer payment portal: The My Gov Hub portal is accessible from the "Online Bill Pay" tab found at https://www.fortmillsc.gov/414/Billing-Customer-Service or under the "How Do I" tab at the top of the Town’s website: www.fortmillsc.gov. Instructions for using the portal are included on the website. Customers can set up recurring payments, pay for multiple properties and access billing history.
- By Mail: Always enclose the top portion of your bill with your check or money order.
- In Person: Bring your bill and payment with you to Town Hall Annex, 200 Tom Hall St.
- By Phone: Call (803) 752-3021 and choose Option 2. You will need your Utility Account number. You can pay by credit card, but please remember there is a 3% fee.
- Night Drop-off: Drop your payment in our drive-through slot at Town Hall Annex.
- Bank Draft: Complete the information on your bill, attach a voided check and return to the Business Office at Town Hall Annex. The form can be downloaded from our website at: https://fortmillsc.gov/414/Billing-Customer-Service
- When will the Utility Billing and Customer Service Department move to the new Town Hall?: The department is tentatively scheduled to move to our new Town Hall, at 205 N. White St., in early 2026. Keep an eye on our social media accounts and website for updates closer to the time. Please note, there will not be a drive-thru location at our new building.
