Baseball Age Determination Date
May 1st, 2026. This date will determine what age group your child plays in. It is your child’s age on this date.
Spring and Fall Season Dates
The spring season is generally March - May and the fall season is generally August - October.
Equipment
3-4 T-Ball, Sluggers T-Ball, Coach Pitch, AAA, Ozone, and Dixie Boys parents will be responsible for providing cleats, bats, gloves and helmets.
Competitive
Coach Pitch
Coach Pitch for ages 7 to 8. Games will be held at Banks Athletic Park or Doby Bridge on any day of the week. Practices will be twice a week before games start and once during the week when games start. Leagues will play with other local entities such as but not limited to Rock Hill and Lewisville.
AAA
AAA is for ages 9 to 10. Games will be held at Banks Athletic Park or Doby Bridge on any day of the week. Practices will be twice a week before games start and once during the week when games start. Leagues will play with other local entities such as but not limited to Clover, Rock Hill, Lewisville, Tega Cay and York.
O-Zone
O-Zone is for ages 11 to 12. Games will be held at Banks Athletic Park or Doby Bridge on any day of the week. Practices will be twice a week before games start and once during the week when games start. Leagues will play with other local entities such as but not limited to Rock Hill and Lewisville.
Dixie Boys
Dixie Boys is for ages 13 to 15. Games will be held at Banks Athletic Park or Doby Bridge on any day of the week. Practices will be twice a week before games start and once during the week when games start. Leagues will play with other local entities such as but not limited to Clover, Rock Hill, Lewisville, Tega Cay and York.
Non-Competitive
3-4 T-Ball
Tee-ball is an instructional baseball league that will be offered every spring and fall to children who are ages 3 and 4 (as of May 1st, 2026). This program is a great way to introduce your child to the game of baseball or softball. Participants will learn the basic fundamentals of the sport (hitting, throwing, fielding, and baserunning).
Practices and games will be held on Saturday Mornings 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. at the Banks Athletic Park or Doby Bridge Park. The first couple of weeks the teams will have practice where they will do drills to learn some of the basics; after that there will be games where score is not kept. The coaches will act as the referees for these games. The Town of Fort Mill will provide shirts and hats for each season. Parents will be responsible for providing cleats, bats, glove and helmets.
Slugger
Slugger is for ages 5 to 6-years old. Practices will be once a week from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm (the day you sign up for Tuesdays or Wednesdays) with a game on Saturdays. The Slugger program is the introduction to coach pitch. This is a noncompetitive league. Practices and games will be held at the Banks Athletic Park or Doby Bridge Park.
