MLK Call to Service Day

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who reminded us that “Everybody can be great because everybody can serve,” the Town of Fort Mill invited the community to take part in the Annual MLK Call to Service Day on January 17, 2026. This year, we highlighted four local organizations that serve vital needs in our community, including Classroom Ready, Fort Mill Care Center, Historic Paradise Foundation, and York County Council on Aging. Donations of the items will directly support the individuals and families they serve.

Thank you to the Indian Land Middle School Boys Basketball Team and the 2025 South Carolina Strawberry Queens who volunteered to help take and sort donations, and thank you to our community for donating so many wonderful items!
