Schools, scouting organizations and afterschool programs are all invited to utilize stormwater curriculum in their programming. The Fort Mill Stormwater Department is dedicated to helping to educate our young citizens on the important role they (and all residents!) play in protecting our stormwater.
Our Stormwater Management Coordinator is happy to set up in-classroom visits, festival booths or other interactive opportunities. Please reach out to Mina at mmacdonald@fortmillsc.gov to schedule an stormwater visit to your organization. Drippy the friendly water drop can also make appearances--please let Mina know if you are interested in having Drippy visit your group!
Programming opportunities are listed below and can be customized to your group.

For our younger citizens, we have Stormwater Storytime available. Storytime involves reading a book, talking about what we learned and often playing a game or singing a song that reinforces the message of the story.

Ready to have the Fort Mill Stormwater Department get involved with your group or organization? Reach out to Mina at mmacdonald@fortmillsc.gov to set up a visit!
